Mark Oliver - President
Mark joined the company in 2018. His grandfather started the company in 1948. Mark graduated from Taylor University with a Degree in Accounting. He began his career working for CNB Bank in the Commercial Loan Department. Mark currently works in Sales and Management Duties. Mark graduated from Williamsport High School. He and his wife, Emily, live in Williamsport with their family pets.
Mark is an avid runner and enjoys many sports including golf.
Taylor Oliver - Past President (Retired April 1, 2024)
Taylor started at Oliver Homes in 1977 full time after working doing framing and electrical work on new homes in summers during college. He started in Land Development and worked in Sales, Sales Management before moving into administration and becoming Vice President and then President of the company. He was President of the Washington County Home Builders Association and was named Builder of the Year in 1982.
He is a lifelong resident of Washington County and graduated from North Hagerstown High School and has a Bachelors degree from Taylor University and a Masters degree from Ball State University. He is married and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
Carl Vogel - Sales Coordinator
Carl has been Sales Manager since 2004, but began working at Oliver Homes in 1998 as a Sales Representative. His extensive experience with kitchen layout and functionality is invaluable to Our Clients designing your kitchen. In addition to managing the Sales staff, Carl represents Oliver Homes as immediate Past President of Home Builders Association of Washington County, and brings his clients invaluable knowledge of the complete home building process.
Carl lives in Hagerstown with his wife. His hobbies include home improvements, golf and off-road motorcycle riding. Carl graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1980 and Frostburg State College in 1985 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
Chris Crespo - Sales Consultant
Chris Crespo joined Oliver Homes as a New Home Sales Consultant in August 2020. Chris has over 20 years of experience working with building distributor wholesalers in Maryland in areas ranging from buying, purchasing, manufacturing and sales. Chris brings his expertise to Oliver Homes, applying his knowledge in all aspects of the new home construction process. Chris is familiar with all aspects of the home building process from the ground up. Much of Chris’ experience revolves around framing, windows, doors, siding and roofing. His focus will be sales and customer service, helping customers decide on a home to suit their specific needs and working to make the entire process as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. We are pleased to welcome him into our organization.
Chris lives in Hagerstown with his wife and has been part of the local community for over 25 years spending as much time outdoors as possible. Some of Chris’ hobbies include hiking, biking, camping, photography and VW Beetle restoration.
Greg Zuvich - Sales Consultant
Greg joined Oliver Homes in January 2021. Greg has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry with cabinetry and space design. Having worked with both new construction and remodeling clients, he has created designs incorporating both functional and decorative elements.
Greg has lived in Hagerstown for 20 years with his wife Jeannette and their 2 sons. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and outdoor activities.
Melody Poe - New Construction & Service Coordinator
Melody joined Oliver Homes in May 2023 as New Construction & Service Coordinator. After 20 years in the medical field, Melody found her passion in kitchen and bath design. She is not afraid of color, pattern, or designs to customize your specific look.
Melody resides in the Chambersburg area with her husband, Mark and their fur-baby. Melody loves to read and garden. She enjoys spending time with the granddaughters riding ATV's, swimming and going to the beach. Any free time in between she'll be in the kitchen cooking-trying new recipies, and baking. Fall Sunday's, she'll be home watching football.
